Velo Blinds is the window-treatment arm of PS Home Group, which has been fitting houses in North Fulton since 2011. The name is new. The crew, the van routes and the way we measure are not.

We started as a cabinet shop. For years, blinds were the thing customers asked about at the end of a closet job — could we handle the windows too, since we were already in the house with a tape measure.

For a while we treated it as an add-on, and it showed. Window treatments need their own sample library, their own supplier accounts and installers who fit nothing else. So in 2019 we separated it out, and the difference in how the jobs went was immediate.

What did not change was the part that matters: somebody from this company comes to your house, measures every window individually, writes the price down, and then the same company installs it. There is no handoff to a franchise crew and no “measure it yourself and we’ll ship it” option, because both of those are how blinds end up an inch narrow.

Today that is around two hundred houses a year across twenty-six cities, from Woodstock out to Gainesville, run out of the showroom on Shiloh Road.

PS Home Group starts in Alpharetta
One crew, one van, and cabinetry work in North Fulton houses. The habit that stuck from year one: measure everything yourself, then quote.

Closets and storage
Closet Cabinet Pro splits off as its own brand. Same measuring standard, same installers, a category of its own.
2019
Window treatments become their own trade
Blinds had been an add-on to cabinetry jobs for years. It turned out to need its own sample library, its own supplier relationships and its own crew.

Houston
Lone Star Shade Co. opens on Westheimer Road, running the same process for Greater Houston.
2026
Velo Blinds
The window side gets its own name, its own showroom floor on Shiloh Road, and 26 cities on the map. Two hundred-plus homes a year.

Three things we will not bend on.

One company, from the first measurement to the last bracket.
No subcontracted installer turning up with a product they have never fitted, and nobody asking you to measure your own windows. The person who quotes the job is from the crew that installs it.
Every number on the quote is a number.
Itemized by window, by product line, by option, plus a flat install fee per unit. If the price changes between the quote and the invoice, something went wrong on our side and we eat it.
Ask us what we'd put in our own house.
We'll tell you, and it usually isn't the most expensive one. We would rather sell you the right cellular shade than the wrong motorized Roman.
